Our story

It all started with our idea to create a smaller, more portable tailgating beer dispenser because we were tired of dealing with renting a keg every time we wanted to have a decent tailgate. We couldn't find anything in the marketplace, so we needed to innovate. After lots of "garage" engineering and field testing, we finally had a decent working product using hand-pumped pressure tanks, which were cumbersome and annoying to constantly pump, but they worked well and proved the concept. After much more innovation and better engineering by design professionals, the new BeerGater pressure tanks were designed, created and manufactured for testing - and they perform like champs! We are constantly innovating and coming up with new products, so check in again soon for updates. The Birth of Our Beloved BeerGater

Believe it or not, the idea for BeerGater originally stemmed from the inventor dressing up for a Halloween party as a self-sufficient beer dispensing, walking bartender where guests could pull a cold beer from a tap he was wearing while walking around the party. When he got tired of walking around, he put it on a table where guests could still pull a beer from it - and BeerGater was born. Glorious. But while that costume may have been meant for the night, BeerGater is meant to be with you for the long haul.

We all know the woes of renting a keg.
